(1) Offer channels à la carte with sustainable margins.
(2) Set a reasonable fixed monthly rate for cable television and Internet service.
(3) Compete on service and price–contract not to purchase TV networks as pawns for undermining competition.
(4) Establish severe poison pills preventing an acquisition by another cable operator.
